We would like to inform you that our Branch Office No. III. and No. V. are going to move from the previous address, 1075 Budapest, Károly körút 11. to a new one: 1135 Budapest XIII., Szegedi út 35-37. Therefore, our Branch Offices will be closed on March 23rd (Monday) and March 24th (Tuesday).
From March 25th (Wednesday) the two Branch Offices will be open to the clients at 1135 Budapest XIII., Szegedi út 35-37. (Twin Office Center Building) during our regular office hours.

Dr. Zsuzsanna Végh, General Director of the Office of Immigration and Nationality received Mag. Wolfgang Taucher, the Director of the Austrian Federal Office for Migration and Asylum. In the framework of the meeting the Parties have consulted about the current migration processes affecting their countries and about the methods of possible handling of the challenging situation.

Office of Immigration and Nationality
Director General of the Office of Immigration and Nationality of Hungary, Dr Zsuzsanna Végh thanked immigration liaison officer of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge) of Germany accredited to Hungary, Mr. Jürgen Brömmelhaus for his devoted work between the years 2012 and 2014. His work has proven to be precious because it has significantly fostered the cooperation between Hungarian and German authorities in the field of asylum. The ceremony also gave an opportunity for introducing the newly-accredited immigration liaison officer of our German partner institution, Mr. Klüver, whose mandate begins on January 1, 2015. His work is expected to contribute to the further continuation of our fruitful bilateral cooperation.

Dr. Zsuzsanna Végh, General Director of the Office of Immigration and Nationality, received Mr. Claus Folden, Director of the Centre for Operational Support of EASO, on 20th November 2014. The development of the asylum capacity of the Union and third countries, the Hungarian engagement in pilot projects for a joint examination of asylum applications has been consulted. The Parties have reviewed the possibility of broadening the bilateral cooperation in operations coordinated by EASO, the support alternatives providing for Hungary and the opportunities for EASO actions in the framework of the migration administrator training organized by the National University of Public Service.
Information about change of customer service order
We inform our clients that on Monday, 10th November 2014 Branch Office 5. of Budapest and Pest County Directorate will be open from 1pm until 4 pm due to technical reasons.

Certificates destined for abroad use can exclusively be authenticated, notarized and supplemented by an Apostille only if they were issued prior to March 1, 2006.
If you are not the person (the certified person or his/ her legally authorized representative) acting, a written legal authorization is required.
Authentication and notarization service fee:
2000 HUF paid by stamp duty attached to the request form.
We hereby draw your attention to the fact that stamp duties cannot be purchased on location. The nearest post office where stamp duties are sold is located in Újbuda Center (1117 Budapest, Hengermalom út 19-21.(Opposite of the Office)).
Apostilles can be requested at and provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
